About:
Bing Wallpaper is a utility that automatically sets your macOS desktop background to the daily Bing homepage image. It downloads the high-resolution photograph each day and applies it as your wallpaper, providing a fresh, curated image daily without manual intervention. The tool runs in the background, ensuring your desktop always reflects the latest visual from Microsoft's search engine.
|
Key Features:
- Automatically downloads the daily Bing homepage image
- Sets the image as the desktop wallpaper without user interaction
- Runs in the background with minimal system resource usage
- Supports multiple monitor configurations
|
Use Cases:
- Automating daily wallpaper changes with high-quality, curated images
- Discovering daily photography and scenic views directly on the desktop
|
Alternatives:
-
Dynamic Wallpaper
– Uses macOS native dynamic wallpapers or local images instead of Bing's daily feed
-
py-wallpaper
– A more configurable Python script that can fetch from various sources including Bing
