About:
Bunch is a macOS automation tool that groups applications, websites, and files into single 'Bunch' files for instant launching. It enables users to create context-specific workflows that can be triggered via the menu bar, hotkeys, or scripting. This streamlines task switching and workspace setup, making it ideal for productivity-focused users.
Key Features:
  • One-click workflow activation
  • Context-aware app switching
  • Scriptable via URL actions
  • Menu bar integration
  • Customizable hotkeys
Use Cases:
  • Switching between work and personal app sets
  • Launching project-specific development environments
  • Automating daily morning routine tasks
Alternatives:
  • AppleScript – More complex scripting required, less user-friendly interface
  • Keyboard Maestro – More powerful but steeper learning curve and higher cost
  • Hammerspoon – Requires Lua scripting knowledge, more developer-focused
