About:
Mkp224o is a specialized command-line utility designed for generating vanity onion addresses for Tor's version 3 hidden services. It leverages the Ed25519 public-key cryptography system to create custom hostnames that are both cryptographically secure and human-readable. This tool is essential for users who want to establish a memorable and verifiable presence on the dark web.
Key Features:
  • High-performance Ed25519 key generation
  • Pattern matching for custom onion addresses (prefixes/suffixes)
  • Multi-threaded processing for faster results
  • Command-line interface for scripting and automation
Use Cases:
  • Creating a memorable onion address for a personal or business hidden service
  • Generating a trusted address that starts with a specific prefix for brand recognition
  • Setting up a secure and verifiable dark web site
Alternatives:
  • mkp224o-fpga – Hardware-accelerated version for significantly faster generation using FPGAs.
  • Scallion – A similar tool for the older Tor hidden service v2 format (RSA), not compatible with v3.
