About:
Mos is a macOS utility that smooths scrolling animations across applications, eliminating the jittery feel of non-native scroll behaviors. It also allows users to independently set scroll directions for trackpads and mice, providing granular control over input preferences.
Key Features:
  • Smooths scrolling animations for a consistent experience
  • Independent scroll direction settings for trackpad and mouse
  • Per-application scrolling customization
  • Lightweight background operation with minimal resource usage
Use Cases:
  • Improving scrolling smoothness in non-native macOS applications
  • Configuring different scroll directions for external mice versus built-in trackpads
  • Creating a uniform scrolling feel across all software on macOS
Alternatives:
  • Scroll Reverser – Focuses only on reversing scroll directions without smoothing animations
  • LinearMouse – Offers mouse customization including scrolling but with different smoothing algorithms
