The tool is lightweight, configurable, and requires no external dependencies.
Key Features:
  • Real-time system monitoring in the terminal
  • Works with both tmux and GNU screen
  • Zero-dependency and lightweight
  • Customizable colors and metrics
Use Cases:
  • Monitoring server resource usage during deployments
  • Tracking system load while running compile jobs
  • Keeping an eye on battery life during mobile development
Alternatives:
  • htop – Provides detailed process management but doesn't integrate into tmux/screen status bars
  • tmux-mem-cpu-load – Similar integration but written in C++ and focuses only on CPU/memory
